Non-profit public organization Saldus Invalids' Society was founded on June 2001. Our aim is to improve life quality of disabled, civic participation. All our projects move forward to the human dignified life. People with disabilities comprise at least five percent of the population. Yet they remain largely invisible to the decision- and policy-makers who design and implement government programs. To begin to address these concerns, Saldus Invalids' Society is leading a series of initiatives to promote the civic participation of people with disabilities.
